All students are expected to attend and participate in person at the assigned day/time. (F2F) Prerequisite or Corequisite: FST 205 The objective of this course will be to examine ways in which the apocalypse is represented in and defined for contemporary audiences by film. Basing their investigation upon Biblical, early American literature, popular culture, and film criticism, students will explore the importance of end times and dystopias on contemporary culture. Students will also learn about cultural, political, historical, and philosophical relevancies of this topic in viewing and analyzing the assigned films.
